Dear Friends --
It's been just over five months since I announced my campaign to be the next state senator for downtown and South Omaha. I have been working hard to spread my campaign message and reach out to voters, old and new, in every neighborhood of the district.
With your help, my campaign has accomplished so much: canvassed the district nearly twice, reaching thousands of voters right at their doors; placed hundreds of signs at supporters' homes and small businesses; attended and hosted community events all across the district; secured endorsements from key community leaders; and raised almost all of the funds we need to spread our message and win this race in May. But there is still quite a bit left to do, and now, with just 34 days left, is the most important time to reach undecided voters.
Our first fundraising deadline of 2016 is tonight at midnight. Can you donate $25, $50, $100 or whatever you can afford right now? >>>
Every dollar you contribute goes towards reaching voters at their doors, on the phone, and in their mailboxes. We only have a little over a month left to reach them and make sure our supporters get out to the polls on Election Day.
There is so much at stake for our community in this election. I'm ready to fight for every one of you in Lincoln -- to strengthen our public schools, work to make healthcare more affordable and accessible, and better support our small businesses. But I need your help to get there. Please consider making a donation of $25 before midnight tonight.
I appreciate your support. Gracias.
